Why Earth Club is the Coolest Club You're Not Part of (Yet)

Hackett Earth Club is starting soon, so if you like student-led meetings, fun activities, and promoting recycling then come to Mrs. Stone's classroom after school Today in room 77! To anyone curious about what Earth club does, Mrs. Stone says

"We tried to promote recycling last year, you can see our posters on the recycling bins around the school."

While the Earth Club is serious about environmental conservation, they also understand the importance of balancing their efforts with enjoyable activities. One such event is their annual visit to Gull Meadow Farms. Club members get to experience Walking through an intricate corn maze, Visiting the petting zoo to interact with farm animals, and spending time with club-mates

These fun outings not only provide a break from more serious environmental work but also help to strengthen the bond between club members and foster a deeper appreciation for nature. If any of this sounds like fun, or if you are interested in being a leader, the Earth Club is always open to new members and fresh ideas. Whether you are a student looking to make a difference or a community member interested in supporting their initiatives, then there is a place for you in this green revolution.

By being responsible in our environment, the Earth Club is not just raising awareness, it is also training the next generation of environmental leaders. These students are learning valuable skills in project management, public speaking, and organizing a community. Each year, the Earth Club hosts a paint drive to collect partially used cans of paint. This initiative serves a crucial purpose: preventing these paint cans from ending up in landfills. By collecting and properly disposing of or re-purposing these paints, the club significantly reduces environmental impact and promotes responsible waste management. So come on down! meetings are at 2:35 after school in room 77.
