Here Come the Titans

United is ready to strike! Our Varsity football team ended their regular season game last Saturday at Ford Field the titans fell in a hard-fought loss against the Titans of Jackson Lumen Christi. United was coming off an impressive five-game winning streak and after their disappointing game against Lumen, our Titans are hungry for another victory. 

Sam Finley said, “Going into that game I think some of our guys had little faith that we were going to win and it led to us starting slow in the first quarter…we’re not looking to hang our heads from that loss though, because we have to be positive since this game is the most important one yet.” To fulfill their loss, the Titans have a chance of redemption this Friday, November 1st. They take on the fierce, Rams of South Haven in a first-round game of the highly anticipated postseason playoffs. 

Earlier this year our Titans swept the Rams 35-6. It is looking promising for the Titans as they hope to redeem their first-round loss last year against the Bucks of Buchanan High School.
