From Michigan Snow to Sunny Shores: Christmas Break Highlights
As the holidays approach, everyone is looking forward to Christmas break and the much-needed time off to relax. Whether it’s a tropical getaway or simply staying cozy at home, students at Hackett Catholic Prep have a variety of plans to make the most of the festive season.
For Daneilo, Christmas break means trading Michigan’s chilly weather for the sunshine and vibrant culture of Miami. The city’s beaches and vibrant atmosphere promise a holiday filled with fun and warmth—a stark contrast to the frosty mornings back home.
Ella Barry, on the other hand, is heading even farther south to the Hawaiian Islands. Opting to spend Christmas morning with the sound of waves crashing in the background and exploring breathtaking landscapes. Hawaii offers a dreamy retreat where holiday traditions might include a luau instead of the usual snowball fight.
Not everyone is packing their bags, though. Some students, like Graham and Coco Zygadlo, are opting to stay home and enjoy the simplicity and comfort of the holiday season with their families. Their plan is to save the big trip for spring break when they travel to the Dominican Republic.
Christmas break reflects how everyone celebrates and unwinds differently. Whether jetting off to exotic locations, embracing the coziness of home, or looking forward to future travels. Whatever the plan, the holiday spirit ensures it’s a time for joy, rest, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
Where will you be this Christmas?
