Even Strides

It was a great day for the runners at the recent Cross Country meet at the Centreville Invitational this past Saturday! Both the mens and womens teams received second place.

The mens and womens teams combined to have 7 personal records which helped to reach that second place! Highlights of the day were a 1st and 2nd place finish by Marek Butciewicz (15:55.6) and Sean Seims (16:43.8), along with a third place finish by Emma Ryker (20:07.3) for the girls. 

Personal Records for the men's team were run by Alex Dumont (18:28.3), Colin Gallagher (19:53.0), Robbie Majoras (23:28.4), and Mark Vogel (28:23.9). For the women's team personal records were run by Emma Ryker (20:07.3), Abby Ulbrich (21:58.8), Delany McBride (23:25.8) and Abigail Ryker (24:20.2). 

The men's teams received second in the small school division and second across all divisions. The women's team also received second in the small school division with a third place finish across all divisions. 

Next Saturday both teams will be back at it at their own meet, the Irish Fox & Hound that they host over at KVCC, so wish them luck and come on out to watch and cheer them on!
